Day 1 Hong Kong : Tsim Sha Tsui

We arrived Hong Kong at about 11am and clearly the skies are not kind to us as it was very rainy and windy for the next 2 days. It was preety much wet all throughout the day till night.

Took in some of the sights, smell and food of in HK's busiests area. This is definitely the place to go as you can find pretty much everything here. Food, electronic gadgets, clothes and you can choose from the shops by Nathan Road or have a bit of wander to Canton and Salisbury Road where the scene changes dramatically to that of a more cultured and posh environment.

(The girlfriend had her fave mango dessert at Hui Lau San)

We went to the HK Museum of Art for the Louis Vuitton exhibition and then wandered to NOBU at the Intercontinental Hotel for some very very posh nosh.

The food in NOBU was out of this world. It is Japanese fusion at its best. As you sink your teeth into the food, it dawns on you why this restasurant can command the $$$ it does and why it is constantly booked out. The only low point of the night was th HK$98 bottle of Fiji Water which costs only HK$20 at 7-11 (we were so robbed!!! we had no idea cos the waiter asked us if we would liked some water...)
