Phillipines

We went to Manila in April 2011 for a short trip but also to celebrate the wedding of Lezel's college mate Camille. They met in Taylors College when they were both doing A Levels. Camille has since moved to Singapore and met her husband Aaron there. They had a ceremony in Singapore in Dec 2010 for their close friends and family, which we couldn't attend as we were in Australia.

As Camille's family is from the Phillipines, they had a grand ceremony and reception there and were wed in one of the old churchs there.

For the reception, it was held in The Peninsula Hotel Manila, which is one of the grandest hotel chains in the world. Thanks to preferential rates we received for being guests of the wedding, it was where we stayed while we were in Manila.

Apart from the wedding, we also did some sigh seeing and met up with our friend Matthew Ting (a friend from KL who works in Manila occasionally). We went to Fort Santiago which is one of the famous landmarks in Manila.
